The Diversity Barometer focuses on equal representation and genuine gender equality between women and men across five themes: (1) education and career, (2) labour market attachment, (3) working environment, (4) leadership and responsibility, and (5) income and wealth.
For each theme, the barometer provides an index value showing how close we are to equal representation between the genders, or whether there is a gender imbalance in which either women or men are overrepresented. The barometer index is based on average values across 22 selected indicators of gender equality and diversity in the Danish labour market, grouped into the five themes.
